Book Review [167] : Atomic Habits

After successful completion of first phase elections in Bijnor I got a little break to read and ponder. So I read this brilliantly written book 'Atomic Habits' by James Clear. The concepts are very fundamental as it speaks about minute improvements on a daily basis by developing good habits and deleting bad habits. In long run the good habits will give you the compounding effect and your progress will surprise the world. The example of British Cycle team in winning large number of medals in Olympics after their coach did fine improvements in almost every thing by breaking down complex tasks in simple tasks and improving simple tasks.

Few years back I saw one example of Chinese bamboo told by Rahul Dravid. For years Chinese bamboo seems the not growing but it once comes out it reaches 90 feet height within few weeks. It's a great learning lesson from this story. Your foundation decides how long you will go and habits play a great role in building your foundation.

So develop good habits, continue with them and continue deleting bad habits. Have a good time.

Highly Recommended (10/10)
