'Elon Musk - Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future' is a brilliant biography of South Africa born American entrepreneur Elon Musk who is the primary force behind
Space-X and Tesla. To be honest, i have heard the name of Elon Musk but did not know the kind of projects he is leading before reading this book. Elon aims to setup human colonies on Mars and to make humans an inter planetary species. Elon founded a series of technology companies based out of Silicon Valley from Zip2, Xe.com, Tesla, Space X, Solarcity etc. Elon Musk as the book suggests is an actual Tony Stark. This book covers in great details the story of Elon Musk, the challenges and adversities he faced in making his dreams come true. Steve Jobs died few years back, thank God we have Elon Musk to continue the flame of innovation burning.
To compete with the entrenched organizations like Boeing and Lockheed Martin and countries like Russia and China in the risky and expensive field of Space exploration is a huge deal and Space X has not only competed but successfully delivered Falcon rockets and Dragon Capsules that can deliver the payload to Space Stations and come back safe to Earth to be used in another cycle.

Electric Car concept is also not a new concept but Tesla cars are major breakthrough as these are not inefficient and expensive cars but are highly efficient and spacious cars that can hit 100 kmph in less than 10 seconds. On a single charge the Tesla car can run 800 km without any break. This is a major breakthrough. Elon Musk is also building Charging stations highway that can charge these cars for free thus making environment safe and clean. I plan to buy Tesla once it is launched in India and if it meets my budget.
