A really nice book...esp the details of the parliament proceedings of the nowborn india...

What I have heard from JanSangh is that Sheikh Abdullah poisoned Dr Mukherjee....

Its a shame that a person who wanted to put Indian flag in Kashmir was given such a bad treatment by the able prime minister Jawahar...

thanx for the info neeraj. I didnt even know that such a biography existed. He is not remembered any more..even in his native state of WB. his name doesnt feature in any of the history books. Its a shame for the people...The ruling party leaders in WB were chased away from East Pakistan during partition and it was due to SPM that Calcutta is in India and those 'secularists' are staying here. But now he has been branded as a Hindu fundamentalist! He had said to Nehru 'You divided India and I divided Pakistan', referring to Jinnah's failure of annexing Calcutta and Murshidabad into East Pakistan. I will definitely read this biography :-)
